What’s the saying? Two is one, and one is none. Or how about couples that shoot together stay together? Well, I think they both apply to this story.

Two homeowners came home last night around 9: 30 PM to a startling surprise. A man had broken into their home and barricaded himself in one of the rooms. As the couple made contact with the intruder, who was armed with a handgun, he fired one shot at them.

But both homeowners were also armed, and both returned fire, hitting the intruder in each thigh. The couple then disarmed the intruder and detained him until the police arrived. The wounded intruder was transported to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. The homeowners were unharmed.
