KUALA Lumpur Mayor Dr Maimunah Mohd Sharif said the entire area in Jalan Masjid India was safe and no stalls or buildings had been ordered to cease operations. 

Maimunah said the area that was currently blocked with barriers only involved a path of about 200m from Wisma Yakin to the police hut to make way for rehabilitation and construction work at the location of the sinkhole incident.
