THE Communications Ministry respects the media’s right to protect whistleblowers but urges it to cooperate with police investigations regarding their sources, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil. 

Fahmi, who is also the government’s spokesman, said this in the wake of a police probe into a news report of an alleged reshuffle of top cops.
