THE Pahang government said it would award RM10,000 to sailor Nur Shazrin Mohamad Latif, who won the country’s first gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the decision was made at the state government’s meeting today and hoped the success of Nur Shazrin, who is from Pekan, would be an inspiration to other Pahang athletes.
