TWO out of three small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have indicated that they have less than six months of cash reserves, according to a recent survey by their association. 

The Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Malaysia (Samenta), which has more than 4,700 members across the country, said the enterprises reported of ultra-slim profit margins despite some 44% of them reporting revenue growth.
